The sights and sounds of spring as we walked up for the paper this morning; the forsythia budding along the path and the sound of a motor boat on the bay - no sight of the boat itself as the fog was in
As I walked up the path for the paper I couldn't help but contrast the warmth of the sunshine and the bird song with the cold grey silence of the winter.

The sunrise gave the water an amazing violet hue this morning, beautiful and unusual. The snow is still crusty. Every footfall creates a great crunchy sound.
